Anheuser-Busch Packaging Group (ABPG)

Packaging and Recycling Subsidiaries

Provides a reliable source of high-quality lids, cans, bottles and other packaging materials for Anheuser-Busch’s U.S. beer operation; helping to manage the supply, cost and quality of packaging materials.

Metal Container Corp.

Supplies more than 45 percent of Anheuser-Busch’s U.S. beer cans and 55 percent of its domestic lids.

Produces cans and lids for major U.S. soft drink companies including PepsiCo, Coca-Cola and Hansen Natural Corp.

Operates can plants in the following U.S. cities:

  • Arnold, Mo.
  • Jacksonville, Fla.
  • Mira Loma, Calif.
  • Newburgh, N.Y.
  • Windsor, Colo.

Operates lid plants in the following U.S. cities:

  • Oklahoma City, Okla.
  • Riverside, Calif.

Anheuser-Busch Recycling Corp.

Celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2008. In addition to supporting commercial recycling programs, Anheuser-Busch Recycling operates a recycling facility in Hayward, Calif.

Longhorn Glass Corp.

Located in Jacinto City, Texas, it supplies more than 60 percent of the glass bottles for the nearby Houston brewery.

Produced more than 800 million bottles or approximately 8 percent of Anheuser-Busch’s total glass bottle needs in 2007.

Eagle Packaging, Inc.

Manufactures crown and closure liner materials at its plant in Bridgeton, Mo.
